14th Annual Summer Fete
The 14th Arlington Square Summer Fete took place last Saturday, 7 September. It was a delightful community gathering. Much fun was had, neighbours built bonds and funds were raised that will help make our neighbourhood a better place.
Celebrating the Coronation
Our right royal do marking the coronation of King Charles III in May was a joyous occasion. The sun shone. Our volunteers set out tables and chairs and rolled out the royal tablecloth.
Prepare to meet your Fete
It’s time for us all to enjoy ourselves and join with our neighbours in putting the fun into fund-raising.
Ready for a right royal do?
A certain keen gardener and one-time enthusiastic visitor to Arlington Square has suggested that we all have a picnic together to celebrate his coronation.
O come, all ye neighbours
Has there ever been a year more deserving of a cracking community Yuletide celebration?
Heir in the square
Arlingtonia was graced by another royal visit in November, when HRH The Prince of Wales dropped by to learn about our community gardening achievements and meet some of our volunteers.
A royal visit to Arlington Square
We welcome more and more visitors to the square every day but very few of them arrive accompanied by a Personal Protection Officer, an Assistant Private Secretary, the Representative Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Islington, the Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, the Deputy Mayor of Islington and a bunch of press photographers.
Another fabulous Fete
Arlingtonians know how to have fun! Our Summer Fete was both hugely enjoyable and a huge success.
Good causes for celebration
We all have our favourite memories to treasure from last year’s community get-togethers.
